Assalamu Alaikum, my name is Yaqub, and I am serving as Treasurer of SSA this year. I am currently pursuing a major in biology. I am enthusiastic about the opportunities this year presents to showcase and celebrate Somali culture on campus. One thing I am excited about is to help mentor the youth and help guide them in seeking higher eduction.

Assalamu Alayakum everyone! My name is Fatima Shauri. I'm a second year pursuing a dual degree in International Studies and Communications. I'm excited to serve as SSA's Marketing Chair this school year. My goal for the school year is to share SSA's love and comfort with the Somali community. Assalamu Alaykum everyone! My name is Mohamed Hosh. I am currently in my third year pursuing a major in Computer Science. I will be serving as the Academic Chairperson of SSA this year. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming year. I can't wait to help our Somali community succeed in all aspects, both on campus and beyond! Hi everyone, my name is Stella Aboshahba and I’m thrilled to serve as your internal outreach chair this year! I am a fourth year health sciences major on a pre-dental track. This year, I'm really looking forward to highlighting our wonderful Somali culture here at OSU while simultaneously creating an inclusive environment for anyone interested in learning more about it! I’m so excited to explore SSA and bring forth my passion to uplift and support our Somali community through impactful service initiatives.
